Cost of Religion
In America today we face being stereotype for our beliefs and faiths. When we think of a religion that is different from ours we label them as bad people or mislead. For example, when people hear Jewish we think of the holocaust, Adolf Hitler, and the saying people “Jew us down.” What does “Jew us down” meaning, it means people are trying to get something for almost nothing which could be anything. When we hear the religion Muslim we think about terrorist, the day 9/11, and the falling five in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We feel as if every Muslim is a terrorist and are out to hurt is we people labels on religions due things that happen in the past. When some people hear Christianity they automatically think they are judgemental people, overbearing, and a superior religion. The way people think of Christains they believe they are stuck up people and feel as if they are better than other religions. The cost of religion is over coming the seterotypes people place uponed you. This is a cutural war that we face in America today because we look down on other religions and also past judgment on those. When we are all have the right to practice freedom of religion.
I am a freshman in college, and I would like to get fedback on others opinions and point of views on what they beileve the cost of religion is.
